Chemical Peels
A chemical peel is a skin-resurfacing procedure in which a chemical solution, such as alpha hydroxyl acid, is applied to the skin to remove the top layers of dead skin cells and allow smoother, younger-looking skin to grow back in its place. There are many benefits to using chemical peels and they are safe for all skin types and colors.
Chemical peels are an excellent treatment for acne and acne scarring because they can help control acne breakouts and help rid you of the unfortunate scars that acne often leaves behind. Peels are very effective at shrinking the pores of your face which get enlarged when clogged with dirt and bacteria. Chemical peels seep into the epidermis to remove the dirt and bacteria. Once the dirt is removed, the pores shrink back to the normal size.
Blue Laser Light
The BLU Light Laser treatment is a gentle and non-invasive, FDA-approved acne treatment method. It uses a laser to gently remove bacteria within the sebaceous glands that cause acne. It targets the glands that are deep within the skin without causing irritation or drying it out. After a series of blue light treatments, the acne will begin to clear up and future breakouts can be avoided.
Treatments can be done in 20 to 30 minutes. They are painless and there is no downtime associated with them. Periodic maintenance treatments are recommended once your skin has cleared up.
