Laser toning is a gentle, low-downtime laser treatment that targets excess pigment beneath the skin’s surface to even out skin tone, fade sunspots, and treat melasma. Carbon laser (also known as a carbon laser peel or “Hollywood Peel”) takes it a step further: a thin carbon layer is applied to the skin, then a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser heats and vaporizes it, deep-cleaning pores, reducing oil, and exfoliating dead skin cells along the way.
Together, these treatments brighten complexion, minimize pore size, and calm acne-prone skin — with little to no downtime and results that build over a series of sessions.

Laser Toning / Carbon Lasers are gentle, quick, and safe for most people. If you are wanting to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles in the face, improve the look of pores, treat acne, scarring, or hyperpigmentation, then you are a good candidate for this treatment. During the treatment session, a light layer of Spectra lotion will be applied to the treatment area. Next, the laser energy will be applied to the skin. During this time patients report hearing snapping sounds as the laser is fired and may also feel a warm tingling sensation. The treatment can take up to one hour to complete after which all normal activities can be resumed immediately.
After a Laser Toning / Carbon Laser, patients can expect to see glowing, younger-looking skin, improved skin tone, a reduction in the appearance of lines and scars, reduction in the size of pores, and a lightened, more even look to dark patches. While some results are noticeable immediately following the treatment, more significant results will be visible within a week to one month after treatment. Some patients will opt to have multiple treatments to increase results further.
